 We are sometimes asked by our valued customers if we install roofs, or repair roofs, or if we pressure wash siding or decks.  The answer to all these questions is a polite 'no'.  The entire focus of our company is to remove dirt, grime and stains from your roof.

Occassionally someone will ask us if we doctored up photos such as this one.  Not the case, and we did not smear charcoal on the roof before we started!

Although most roofs do not get this bad, there is often a dramatic line that develops while cleaning between the stained area and the clean area.  Like so many other things in life that occur real slowly, the very gradual process of shingles getting dirty is often masked by the screaming presence of nasty algae growth. 

Remember, while all that algae is getting darker, the rest of your roof is up there all alone, without an umbrella, subject to whatever might land on it (how do you hide from those darn bird-droppings if you are a roof shingle?) Anyway,when we start stripping away the dirt and the algae, it is gratifying to see the surprise on the face of homeowners and neighbors.

We've had a few instances where the crowd of people watching resembled the mob in the Verizon cell phone commercial. 

In the text above we mentioned most roofs don't get as bad as the previous picture, however here is the exception!  The homeowners may have hesitated just a little too long to have the algae romoved from their roof. 

As you can see, algae and other growths have grown into the shingles to the point where the shingles have been seriously undermined...or, should we say, where the shingles have been seriously and mysteriously turned into a sod farm.

This house was one of the few times we had to inform the homeowner that we could not help them.

Now here we have a birdseye view of what the roof tech sees while stripping away all that nasty stuff that has been growing over the homeowners head. 

You might notice the dark area looks moist.  No, that is not oil that we have sprayed there for effect;  it is actually moist from the application of our product, hard at work finding algae roots and killing the little buggers.  Very gratifying.  We love our jobs!

Commercial Roof Cleaning and Stain Removal

We are no strangers to commercial jobs. 

It appears the gentlemen in the picture to the right decided to do this job the old fashioned way, hanging off ladders...not that there's anything wrong with that!

Notice the distance from the top of the orange ladder to the ridge.  Don't you wonder how the technician got up there?  Sorry, can't tell you, trade secret. 

Anyway, different approach than in the prior picture; we decided to cleanse this church roof from up on the ridge, rather than off the ladder.  Gotta be flexible.  Amen!
